We have decided to choose the longest distance offered by the organization every time we participate in a running race. Last Saturday we opted for the 10 miles or 16.1 kilometers during the 1st Affligemloop. The course consisted of 3 laps. Although we went out the night before until the early hours (a bachelor party of a family member) we were quite fit at the start. Our motto is who can go out until 4 am, can also be on the slopes at 9 am to snowboard. Sustaining this six days in a row should be our record so far. Speaking of endurance. So you can also walk! Despite quite a lot of headwind during the course (the wind was good for kiting by the way), we completed the 16.1 km with an average speed of 6 min/km.
