Snowboard/sandboard expedition Chile december 2005

In December 2006 we went to Chile for 5 weeks where we went sandboarding in the Atacama desert and snowboarding on the Villarica volcano. The main expedition was to be the first in the world to snowboard down the Tupungato volcano. The Villarrica is a snow-capped stratovolcano located in the Andes, in southern Chile. The Villarrica is one of Chile's most active volcanoes. The Tupungato is an active volcano and with its 6570m is one of the highest mountains in South America.
