World's first solo snow Kite Expedition 2013 Canada-USA

New snow kite expedition;
Solo from Winnipeg, Canada to Fargo United States, from north to south with border crossing....no ice cap or remote area this time, but just along the road and this with snowboard and kite while pulling my equipment with a sled. The end of January is the best period because then there is the most snow over the entire route, but especially because there are the most favorable winds to do the trjacet this way!
Expedition start date 30/1/2013 flight via Chicago to Winnipeg, 1 day to do the last shopping, prepare fuel and then departure. The goal is to cover this distance 350km in 7 days. But this Maitoba and North Dakota area should not be underestimated in winter; blizzards can occur, temperatures of -20 or lower occur regularly during this period. I start my route outside the center of Winnipeg, for safety reasons I have to avoid main roads and roads that lie along power lines.
Once at the border, I count on half a day to enter the US. ESTA VISA is already in order, and from there on towards Fargo.
And I have a big advantage, if the weather conditions are disappointing or if I am not on schedule (return flight on 9/1/2013), .... there is always public transport nearby! My progress will also be followed via this website
